    I would second the Norris book, but I have to say that the best book is Jonathon Culler's On Deconstruction - it was the only book that Derrida himself said was a good introduction. The index of that book was really helpful in directing me to useful sections.     This chapter discusses the actual presuppositions of Derrida in the philosophy of language.     This chapter examines canonical treatments of early texts such as those of Jonathan Culler and Christopher Norris.
